New Mexico singer/songwriter Sarah Rowe, is a tumbleweed in the wind, an all American girl, deeply rooted in faith, and the traditional music influences of her childhood. Her love of music arrived at a very early age. She would pass the time by singing and playing music with her father for the family.
She grew up just west of the Manzano Mountains, where the wild roam free, the coyotes sing, and the stars are sure to come out at night. “We lived in the middle of nowhere, so there wasn’t a whole lot to do but be creative and let my imagination wander.” She says. “Growing up so far away from everything really made me appreciate the simple things in life, but always gave me a hunger to see as much as I could.”
The Southwest has been the main stage for Rowe during her childhood and adult life. “ New Mexico, Texas, and the Southwest are truly special. Their history, traditions, and musical legacy live well within me and my music.” Rowe says.
Rowe timelessly fuses traditional country vocals, old fashioned storytelling, and a contemporary twist, into a unique blend all its own.
“When people listen to my music, I want them to feel a connection to a beautiful way of life, Rowe says. “ I want them to feel connected to the spirit of the Southwest, and the personal journey that i’ve walked within it.”
